New town preparation work under way

Preparation work on the new Cambridgeshire town of Northstowe is being finished off.

The town, north-west of Cambridge, is due to have 10,000 homes.

Roads are being laid, phone and broadband connections are being put in the ground and the new school is taking shape.

The first families could move in next spring.
