Bradgate Logging
Sometimes going back to the past is the best way of getting things done in the present.
For example, in order to clear up after the damage of this winter's storms, the rangers at Bradgate Park have got a horse in to do a tractor's work.
In one of the plantations on the edge of the park, quite a bit of damage was done by Storm Imogen that needed to be cleared up, but the terrain is very difficult to get across and to bring a tractor in would cause all sorts of damage to the wood floor.
So they've done some lateral thinking.
