Sending Money Home – to Ghana
Ghanaians working abroad are now sending home a total of $1.9 billion in a year
Remittances sent back to Ghana – to friends and relatives – in one year now total $1.9 billion, more than four times what the country receives in international aid, even though individual sums aren't great. The programme looks at the impact of money sent home from the UK.
