A leading fertility lawyer is calling for the UK law on surrogacy to be changed to make it less complicated.
There are worries that too many people are confused and are going abroad despite some countries banning foreigners from making surrogacy arrangements.
Joanna Gosling spoke to four women who have been involved in the process, including Shereen Jivraj who had a baby via a surrogate in India, Rachel Coleman who has acted as a surrogate in the UK and lawyer, Anne-Marie Hutchinson.
