Abused female football referee speaks out after club chairman is banned for 5 games
The referee at the centre of a case which saw the Football Association ban a club chairman for abusing a female official has been speaking exclusively to this programme.
Martin Potton, the chairman of non-league club Wellingborough town, was fined last year for using derogatory and insulting language towards a 22 year old female referee, after he said Mary Harmer wasn't fit to referee in the men's game.
He denies the claims but the FA banned him for 5 games. Robyn Cowen has this report.
