Sharapova drugs test excuse 'absurd'
Tennis star Maria Sharapova's excuse for a failed drugs test has been questioned by former British athlete Jeanette Kwakye.
Sharapova, who tested positive for meldonium, says she has used a substance for the last decade for medical purposes, and had not read the material she was emailed in December saying it was being banned.
“If she didn’t open it, then at least a member of her team should have opened it," said Kwakye.
