Studying terrorism - and seen as a 'potential threat'

There is now a legal duty placed on all statutory bodies under the UK Government's counter-radicalisation programme to 鈥渉ave due regard to prevent people from being drawn in to terrorism鈥. Nowhere has the policy proven more controversial than in universities, where they also have a duty to protect freedom of speech. Masters student Mohammed Farooq explains how the policy led to him being put under the spotlight as a 'potential threat'.
