With the success of the Foxes and the ongoing interest in Richard the Third, Leicester has found itself thrust into the spotlight over the last 12 months.
But with all this exposure, are we doing enough to ensure the city centre remains a welcoming environment? One area which has raised concerns is begging. Three months ago Leicestershire Police launched a campaign urging you not to give money to beggars, but to donate to local charities instead.
But are the public sticking to the rules?
Car insurers are becoming increasingly hot under the collar about dodgy crash-for- cash insurance claims.
One company, Aviva, detected at least three thousand of them last year and the numbers appear to be growing. Birmingham is the worst hot-spot for fraudulent cash-for-cash claims, recording one-in-four of the total. But you can also throw in Coventry, Leeds, Bradford, Oldham, Luton and parts of London for good measure.
We spoke to Mickey Clark, who told us more.
What do you name a new born gorilla?
You may remember the pictures of the gorilla born by caesarean section last month at Bristol Zoo. Well now thousands of people have had their say on what to call her. She's going to be called Afia which means 'Friday born child' in Ghana.
