How much do we spend on foreign aid?
The UK government is in debt by around 拢1.6 trillion - every second that figure goes up by 拢5,000.
Trying to cut both the debt and the deficit - that's the difference between the amount of money the government spends and how much it receives - has proved difficult for successive governments.
Since the last budget in March, focus has turned to which areas of government spending could be cut.
Foreign aid has come under the spotlight again - but how much do we spend?
