Lennon & McCoist: Rangers improve Scottish football
Former Old Firm managers Neil Lennon and Ally McCoist agree Rangers鈥 promotion to Scotland's top flight is a good thing and will 鈥渋mprove the standard of football鈥 across the country.
McCoist, 53, who was in charge of Rangers when they were placed in the Scottish Third Division in 2012 said: "We're a small nation that certainly needs all of its big clubs playing against each other and competing."
Lennon, 44, managed Rangers' rivals Celtic for four years and led them to victory over Barcelona in the Champions League during that time.
He said: "They really need the Old Firm games to sell Scottish football. Rangers coming back will make the competition better, will improve the levels of interest and the standard of football will be better."
