Lucian Msamati chooses Othello's nemesis Iago.
Angry at missing out on promotion, Iago plots Othello's downfall, insinuating that his wife, Desdemona, is having an affair with Michael Cassio.
The extract is from the RSC's 1990 production of Othello, directed by Trevor Nunn, starring Ian McKellen as Iago and Willard White as Othello, available on DVD.
Lucian Msamati played Iago at the RSC in 2015, opposite Hugh Quarshie as Othello.
