Junior doctor attacks government strike 'spin'
Junior doctors are going on an all-out strike on Tuesday and Wednesday, in protest at the government's decision to impose a controversial new contract in England.
Dagan Lonsdale, a junior doctor, said the government was "trying to spin that junior doctors are simply leaving patients in the lurch", but he told Andrew Neil on the Daily Politics that was not true.
Speaking of the government stance, he said that it was "not good enough to simply throw your hands up in the air and say it is going to be imposed."
