Charles Dance on Coriolanus
Charles Dance chooses the Roman general Coriolanus.
Although brave and successful in battle, Coriolanus' temperament is unsuited to political leadership and he is exiled from Rome.
The extract is from Ralph Fiennes' film Coriolanus, starring Fiennes in the title role and Vanessa Redgrave as Coriolanus' mother Volumnia. Available on DVD.
