Parents’ frustration after Meningitis B campaign
The parents of a toddler who died from Meningitis B have criticised the government for “ignoring” their campaign to protect all children with a vaccine.
Jen and Neil Burdett shared photos of their two-year-old daughter Faye fighting for her life, to raise awareness of the illness.
She died on Valentine's Day earlier this year.
An e-petition calling for all children, not just babies, to be vaccinated from the disease became the biggest-ever and was supported by over 800,000 people.
Jen and Neil say that despite huge public support, they feel that the campaign has not made a difference.
