Why there'll be no Welsh flags at Eurovision

New rules mean there will no flags bearing the Welsh dragon at the Stockholm final of the Eurovision Song Contest, despite one of the two British entrants hailing from Wales.

Clywd West MP David Jones - serving the constituency of contestant Joe Woolford - said organisers were "lumping us in with ISIS, Northern Cyprus, Palestine and other politically-sensitive areas."

Nicki French, the UK's Eurovision contestant in 2000, said there had been problems with flags before, and disputed whether the Welsh flag had been banned, but explained how 鈥渧ery special鈥 it was to see the Union Jack when she performed.

They were speaking to Daily Politics presenters Andrew Neil and Jo Coburn, and their guest Tim Marshall.
