First penis transplant in the US
Surgeons at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston have carried out the first successful penis transplant in the US - on a cancer patient, Thomas Manning. He had lost most of his penis to the disease. The organ came from a deceased donor. Mr Manning told the New York Times reporter, Denise Grady, 'I want to go back to being who I was'
