A Beccles resident says she and her neighbours are on "peacock watch" to try to prevent a group of the birds causing damage in their gardens.
Keen gardeners are finding their bedding plants are either being eaten, or pulled up and squashed by the birds.
The peacocks are also being blamed for noise, nuisance, and even vandalism to cars.
The birds have been seen around the town for the last six months, according to residents.
