Controversial plans for Brantham homes approved

Controversial plans for over 300 new homes in a village in south Suffolk have been approved.

The approval will see industrial development on the Wardle Storeys site in Brantham, which has been described as being "heavily contaminated".

More than 300 homes will also be built, on nearby greenfield land.

The decision was taken at a meeting of Babergh District Council.
