Is this the UK's oldest regular footballer?

Dickie Borthwich is thought to be the UK's oldest regular football player at the ripe old age of 80.

He's been taking to the pitch since 1947 and is showing no sings of hanging up his boots yet.

He told 5 live Breakfast's Nicky Campbell the secret to his youthful ways is "staying active everyday".

He said that he is "fairly fit" but has "one or two" aches and pains after a friendly match at the weekend.
