The Japanese robot receptionist
Meet ChihiraAico, a robot receptionist who was installed at a Japanese department store. Japanese engineers have been trying to imbue their robots with more 'human presence' and ChihiraAico is one of the latest examples of this. Some have found her unsettling, given her resemblance to a person.
