Former England defender Danny Mills says he would have "begged" Chelsea's John Terry to come and play for his country again.

Terry announced his retirement from international football in 2012 after earning 78 caps.

Asked if he would include Terry in England's squad for Euro 2016, Mills said: "Yes I would have done, I would have taken him to the last World Cup and I would have begged him, almost on bended knee, and say 'please come and play for us' because undoubtedly he is the best English centre-half bar none."
