Australian Big Bash franchise, the Melbourne Renegades, confirmed that they would not re-sign the former West Indies captain, Chris Gayle, for the next season due to the batsman's controversy with female reporters.

However, in an exclusive interview with Stumped, Gayle - one of world cricket's most famous personalities - say's he is "disappointed in the Renegades" for how he has been treated and believes that the franchise have created some of the controversy in the media to "build their own image".
