Is Jacqueline Fernandez wearing a dagger resembling a Kirpan in a dance routine offensive?

A Gurdwara committee in Delhi has written to India's film certificate board voicing their anger over the Bollywood actress' appearance with a dagger resembling the Kirpan in the film Dishoom. They are asking for the trailer to be pulled - and the scene in question to be cut from the film. An excerpt from the letter says that the Kirpan is 'one of the five compulsory Kakaars (articles of faith in the religion) worn by a practising Sikh; dangling in front of her legs and supported by a cloth belt worn around the waist by the actress.' So is this inclusion of the scene offensive to Sikhs? Sukhvinder and Jagdeesh debated the issue.
