UFC king Michael Bisping: 'I'll defend belt in UK'
Britain's Michael Bisping tells 5 live's Stephen Nolan he wants to defend his UFC mixed martial arts world title belt in Manchester in the UK.
The 37-year-old Lancastrian, who now lives in California, became the first British man to win a world UFC title when he defeated middleweight champion Luke Rockhold in Los Angeles in a first-round knockout earlier this month.
He told Stephen Nolan he would rather defend the belt in Manchester than at the MGM in Las Vegas: "I've made history... I wanted to bring this belt home and I want to defend it on UK soil".
And he says that he'll only consider himself truly worthy of calling himself world champion when he makes a successful defence of his title: "You're not the champion until you defend the belt".
