Rail strike 'nothing to do with closing doors'
The RMT says Southern rail strikes are about the "safety-critical role of the guard".
Assistant general secretary Mick Lynch said "we are not interested in money, we never wanted any money" when Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn asked about the offer of 拢2,000 from the firm.
Talks are taking place aimed at averting 14 days of action in a long-running row over the role of conductors on the services in London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
