Closing Jungle could have been much 'smoother'
A leading councillor says the Home Office should have engaged earlier over closing the Calais Jungle.
David Simmonds - the chairman of the Local Government Association's Asylum, Refugee and Migration task force - told the Westminster Hour that it could have been a "much clearer, smoother, more efficient process" if ministers had engaged earlier with councils.
