Roger Taylor: I never had a cross word with Freddie Mercury

It will be 25 years on the 24th November since Queen front man Freddie Mercury died. The band's drummer, Roger Taylor, has told Afternoon Edition they "can't believe" it's been so long.

He said: "Brian and I talk about that a lot and we just can't believe it. That is actually longer than we were together with Freddie."

Taylor and May still tour as Queen with American Idol winner Adam Lambert singing in the band. Taylor added that he has many "funny memories" of Freddie "not all printable or repeatable."

He added: "I don't think I ever had a cross word with Freddie. We had our moments but Freddie was the great peacemaker in the band actually. He was very grown up in that sense."
