Chairman Mao's Cultural Revolution

In 1966, China's communist leader Chairman Mao declared the start of the Cultural Revolution. At the forefront of the revolution were the Red Guards - young, radical students and fanatical supporters of Mao and his circle. Parents and teachers were vilified and in some cases beaten and killed. Old temples, architecture and literature were destroyed.
Saul Yeung was 20 years old when he joined the Red Guards.
