Baroness Smith: Peers won't play games
The Labour Party's Leader in the House of Lords says peers will properly scrutinise any Article 50 legislation brought forward from the Commons.
Speaking on the Westminster Hour, Baroness Smith told Carolyn Quinn that the House of Lords will seek reassurances over the Brexit measures but this would not be a delaying tactic. The House would simply be performing the normal role of Parliament.
