What is working life like for women in the UK today?
Eighty-four per cent of women agree that is it harder for women than men to have a successful career and raise a family, according to a ComRes survey for 5 live looking at working life for women in the UK today.
The survey, commissioned as part of the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú's 100 Women season, also revealed women are less confident to apply for a promotion at work than men (56% vs 68%), and less confident to ask for a pay rise than men (32% vs 51%).
ComRes surveyed 2,083 UK adults for Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Radio 5 live.
