Button: 'It will be messy after my last race'
2009 World Champion Jenson Button is expecting an "emotional" weekend as he competes in the final race of his 16-year Formula 1 career.
"There's supposedly a party to go to but I don't think I'll make it there. I'll be surprised if I make it out of the paddock,鈥 said the 36-year-old Briton.
Sunday's race in Abu Dhabi will be Button's 305th Grand Prix start, with only Rubens Barrichello (322) and Michael Schumacher (306) having driven in more.
"All you can do is your best, as a racing driver and as a human being. I think I've done alright in those two areas," said the McLaren driver.
"I'm going to savour every moment and take everything in.鈥
