University of Reading's Prof. Kevin Warwick on how close we are to working with robots.

Prof. Kevin Warwick:

"There is something called the uncanny valley, and what this is when you get a robot that looks amazingly human...it's too close for comfort.

"It's tremendously exciting in all sorts of ways, because you've got the physical aspects of robots doing things, and you've got the mental aspects as well.

"A machine thinks in a similar way to a human, but you don't really understand."
