Welsh town renamed 鈥楯umper鈥� for Christmas

The historic town of Cardigan in Wales has changed its name to 鈥楯umper鈥� for the festive season. The name change has been put in place to celebrate Save the Children's annual Christmas Jumper Day.

The whole town is getting involved and donning its best Christmas knitwear with a giant Christmas jumper being unveiled at the town hall. Farmers have even been asked to dress their sheep up as well!

The mayor of 鈥楯umper鈥� told 5 live Drive: 鈥淚t鈥檚 been great, we鈥檝e even got the police wearing jumpers!鈥�
