The burnt body of Oliver Gobat from Esher was found in a car on the Caribbean island in April 2014.
After a campaign by his parents, the Home Secretary agreed Surrey Police could assist investigators in St Lucia.
Dominic Raab, MP for Esher and Walton said the family felt "abandoned" over the lack of progress in the case.
"There has been no progress in the case and no proactive engagement or assistance provided by Surrey Police," Mr Raab said during a Westminster Hall debate.
"Worse still, the family is now also receiving death threats as a result of its own private investigation.
"I think it's fair to say that the Gobat family feel abandoned.
A Surrey Police spokeswoman said: "The murder of Oliver Gobat is a St Lucian police-led investigation and does not involve Surrey Police and as such there are no plans for any Surrey officer to travel to the Caribbean Island."
Theresa May, the then Home Secretary, pledged the UK's help in the investigation and in September 2015 Surrey Police were given permission to help with the investigation.
Oliver's brother, Adam, tells 麻豆官网首页入口 Surrey: "As far as we're concerned there has been no investigation at all.
"No-one in authority has taken up the reins on this and it feels like [Oliver's] life has been completely devalued."
Oliver, known as Ollie, was born in St Lucia but grew up in Surrey where he played junior cricket at county level.
He and his two older brothers ran a five-star boutique hotel in an exclusive resort in St Lucia.
The Home Office said any request made by another country for UK police assistance would be considered.
