Cuts to widows' pension 'an insult'
A woman whose husband died 10 years ago, leaving her with two young daughters, says the government's plan to cut widowed parent's allowance is an "insult".
Georgia Elms, chairman of the self-help charity Widowed and Young, told Victoria Derbyshire the allowance enabled her to support her grieving children by working part-time.
Victoria Derbyshire also spoke to Ros Sobotnick, who was widowed in 2014, and shadow work and pensions secretary Debbie Abrahams MP.
