A Tory rebellion over Article 50?

Former minister Bob Neill calls for government assurances on Brexit legislation.
The former Communities minister said he was inclined to vote against the government if it fails to provide assurances on Parliament having a say before any Brexit deal is finalised.
The House of Lords will this week debate whether or not parliament should approve the outcome of Brexit negotiations. The European Union (Notification of Withdrawal) Bill will then return to the Commons for further debate.
Speaking to the Westminster Hour's Carolyn Quinn, Mr Neill said: "I want something that specifies not only the timing of the vote which I think we have got now - before it goes to the European side and the European Parliament for ratification - but I also want it made clear that there is a vote on whether or not there is a deal or no deal."
The Tory MP for Bromley and Chislehurst added: "If there is no deal, that means that we would potentially leave the EU straight onto World Trade Organisation terms and without any transitional arrangements. I believe that would be deeply damaging for this country and I think parliament should have the right to consider that".
