Marc began his musical career in the early 80s with David Ball in Leeds-based synthpop band Soft Cell (one of their biggest hits being a cover of the Northern Soul stomper Tainted Love), and has since had a long and varied career as a solo artist. He's collaborated with Gene Pitney (with their Number 1 hit single Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart) as well as Antony Hegarty, Tony Visconti, Nico, Siouxsie Sioux - and has ventured in almost every musical genre from Russian folk to techno. Marc has sold over 30 millions records worldwide.
