Swazi and Khushbir – Our Team
When Swazi and her husband were told they could not conceive, they started the adoption process. However, Swazi got pregnant, and in 2010 their 'miracle baby' Khushbir arrived. When Swazi failed to get pregnant a second time, they turned back to adoption. Khushbir, who wanted a sibling, was involved in the whole process and was in court to help sign the papers for his brother, when he was aged 4. The family adopted a 1 year old - which was hard for Khushbir who was dealing with a walking talking toddler. The transition was harder than Swazi and her husband expected. Now the boys are 3 and 6 they are very close and love each other. During their conversation, mother and son discuss the arrival of his brother, and the impact on the family - Neo the cat, included.
