What is it like being a transgender soldier?
US President Donald Trump says transgender people cannot serve in "any capacity" in the military. He tweeted that he had consulted with military experts and cited "tremendous medical costs and disruption". Caroline Paige was the first transgender officer who served openly in the UK military for 16 years after transition. Ritula Shah asked her what it was like to come out as transgender to her seniors and her advice for transgender soldiers in the US who face the ban.
