Thomas Ad猫s on Lulu by Alban Berg
Thomas Ad猫s champions the character of Countess Geschwitz in Berg's opera Lulu, the first explicitly gay character in opera.
Composed between 1929-1935, the German-language libretto was adapted by Alban Berg himself from Frank Wedekind's two Lulu plays.
Thomas Ad猫s is a composer, pianist and conductor, whose operas include The Exterminating Angel, The Tempest and Powder Her Face.
