Just before Jimi Hendrix鈥檚 death in London in 1970, the star had headlined the Isle of Wight Festival before an audience estimated at nearly 700,000. That was considerably more than at Woodstock the previous year. But Andy Kershaw explains that may not have been the most remarkable gig of Hendrix鈥檚 all-too-short career.
