British Rowing's Vicky Thornley is happy with her World Championships silver medal.

It caps off a successful season for Thornley, who became a European champion back in May.

"It's quite a lot to take in," Thornley told 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "I'm pretty happy with that.

"If at the beginning of the season you had told me I was going to come away with a silver medal from the world's, I'd have taken that."

And Thornley ranked this result high among her career success.

"After the Olympics, this is my best result.

"I'm happy rather than miserable!"
