Energy cap 'yet more nipple tweaking of the energy market'
Martin Lewis has described the government's planned energy cap as "yet more nipple tweaking of the energy market."
Speaking to 5 live Breakfast, Martin criticised the failure of previous governments to deal with the cost of energy bills and competition in the market:
"What we've had is a constant flow of small ideas with unintended consequences that’s never fixed anything."
"If we are going to keep within a competitive market you have to rely on the majority of people switching."
