How haggis is going international
Macsween鈥檚 is a haggis company from Scotland and it鈥檚 demonstrating how flexibility can pay off. It鈥檚 just made an international breakthrough by securing a deal to export the traditional delicacy to Canada for the first time since 1996 when the country banned imports of red meat after the BSE scare. Nancy Nicholson went to the factory near Edinburgh to meet the company鈥檚 Managing Director James Macsween. The company had to tweak the haggis recipe to clinch the international deal.
