Edible beach hut crafted from sugar

A love of baking and an architectural heritage were just two of the ingredients in a giant festive technical challenge for a Norfolk baker.

Emma Thorburn, from Sheringham in Norfolk, was tasked to create a confectionery centrepiece for Holkham Hall's Christmas visitor experience.

Her inspiration came from nearby beach huts, a seagull and a lot of sugar.
