Is NHS England coping in the winter months?

NHS England released figures on its performance for the week ending 21 January showing pressure on the service continued - with 11,000 ambulance delays of more than 30 minutes, and bed occupancy levels of 94.8%

Daily Politics presenter Sarah Smith heard from Labour's shadow health secretary Jonathan Ashworth, and Conservative Tory MP Andrew Murrison who served as a navy medic for 20 years, while commentator Peter Hitchens said both major parties were trying to "make capital" out of the NHS.
