Cian Ciar谩n has spent the last twenty years working on an orchestral odyssey into Welsh folklore called 'Rhys A Meinir'.

The piece tells a Welsh folk tale of love and loss through a series of twenty three orchestral movements, and was first performed with the 90-piece National Orchestra of Wales in 2016.
