Vernon Adams designed around 15% of all free to use fonts online.

His biggest success was a font called 'Amatic' which has been used on thousands of memes and inspirational posts, as well as on mugs, T-shirts and posters.

Vernon died in August 2016 from injuries sustained in a scooter accident two years before.

His widow, Allison, said when she sees his font used on social media, it's like 'letters sent from heaven'.
