‘Why I’m willing to take the steroid risk’
A steroid user has told Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Radio 5 Live that he’s willing to continue taking anabolic steroids, despite a new clinic giving him test results which show he’s got a risk of kidney failure.
Stewart visited the clinic in Newport, which is the first in the UK to offer help from doctors to steroid users.
It's not illegal to take steroids but they can only be sold by pharmacists with a doctor's prescription.
Concerns are growing about the adverse side-effects, leading doctors to set up the clinic, to which 5 Live has been given exclusive acccess.
