When will crisp packets be recyclable?

The war on single use plastics: first it was water bottles, coffee cups and straws. Now crisp packets are in the firing line. In the UK we eat more crisps than people do in any other European country. The market leader by a mile is Walkers. The Walkers factory in Leicester makes ten million packets of crisps a day. You can鈥檛 recycle the bags though! A petition demanding that Walkers switch to recyclable bags has been signed by more than 300,000 people. The company said it will make the switch, but not until 2025. Winifred Robinson presents.
